I met a man who donated some autographed stuff for a silent auction our school hosted. I was amazed at the amount of collegiate and professional items he had that were autographed and just asked how he gets autographs. He basically said he gives items ro students and has them get the autographs and then pays the students when he picks up the merchandise. Dude had a room filled with all types of signed stuff from most SEC teams and a few of the bigger name teams from other conferences...and pretty much covered baseball and basketball too in his collection.
