The NCAA changed that rule. In the past they had to get the evidence on their own. After The U dude, they changed that.

If you’re a coach at a non-blue blood program, and you’re having to do the same things they’re doing to compete, and you know the NCAA will enforce selectively if they can and not touch blue bloods...you collect evidence against the blue blood coaches as a nuclear option.

These guys deal with the same people and run in the same circles. They recruit the same players. They have evidence. My guess is if Wade goes down, he will ensure the evidence against Calipari, K, and all the other big names is given to the NCAA, and if they ignore it he will take it to the media.

Tapes are tapes. Still need a paper trail. They're already investigating it. Nothing has happened yet. Will Wade isnt going anywhere

not really. If you have a HC talking about buying players, you really don't need a paper trail.

ETA ask Pat Dye what a recording can do to you.

I hope this doesn't happen. If Wade goes down it will be his own fault and has nothing to do with the other coaches.

Is the documentary called will Wade : American gangster? If not it should. He doesn't give a frick and will be the coach at LSU for a long time. Quit hating and acting like a scared little bitch. Like Kentucky doesn't cheat? GTFO.

It has EVERYTHING to do with them. They’re the reason there’s a price for elite recruits in the first place. They built the house of cards and forced everyone to play their game to be able to compete. They don’t get to be exempt from the consequences. They don’t get to be untouchable while others go down for doing the same thing they’ve done for years.

And that’s the reason why, if I were Wade and they came after me for doing what I had to do to compete with the big boys in the system they created, I’d have collected evidence to use against them as a nuclear option.

If Wade goes down because he got caught talking on the phone, then that's on him and not the other coaches. He shouldn't be talking to anyone at all. He should have a buffer to anything and everything that could get him busted. IMO, a person shouldn't take down others because of their mistake.

I agree with this in principle, but you’re missing the big picture here. Wade, like everyone else in CBB, has to do the same thing to even be competitive BECAUSE the blues have been doing it. So your choice is to get fired because your teams can’t compete, or do what they’re doing to have a chance. This is not a Will Wade problem, it’s a systemic problem.

It’s interesting to see what comes out of this because the coaches weren’t on trial. They weren’t interested in taking guys down like Wade.

You seem to be unaware of that entire situation while there is similarities that both involved recorded conversations the circumstances that led to Pat Dye stepping down are quite different.

It’s a marvelous thing to watch Tigers in their natural habitat trying to convince themselves all is well.

Calipari is one of the top 3 dirtiest coaches out there, and possibly the #1. He left his previous 2 schools under sanctions. What’s marvelous to me is reading sanctimonious posts from UK fans.
