I made it out to Pasadena leaving the day of the game by complete miracle.
the Mobile Airport was shut down cause of bad weather, so we called the airline and they put us on a 6:15 flight out of Pensacola...of course it was 5:15 at this point. We actually almost made the flight, but the (insert creative names) had shut the airline doors early. We then changed our itinerary to leave P-cola at 8:30, go to Chicago (1 hr. delay here), then to Minneapolis (-4 degree weather with broken jetway...I got really really cold walking outside because I had on shorts), then to Pasadena about an hour before kickoff. We told the taxi to haul it, and made it to the Rose Bowl about ten minutes into the game (it was 3-0, and the first play I saw was the one where Julio forgot to catch the kickoff)
