Why should he be given all of this respect otherwise? Because Hog fans are convinced he is some kind of genius? He is a mediocre SEC coach. Nothing more or less. He will have some success at Arkansas but he won't find his true calling until he coaches a Big 12 school. That is what his philosophy is suited for.

Reality is a bitch. You have a Big 12 running game and defense. And LSU will exploit that in a big way Friday. I will say this much though. Tyler Wilson is one tough kid. And I respect the hell out of that.

this is the most sincere post i have seen from any fan on this board. i think, in order to win on a consistant basis in the sec, a hc has to not only recruit incredibly well, develope players & just be a great gameday coach, but instill a culture of winning. not sure that arkansas is there yet, but petrino is trying.

It is what it is. Arkansas has a nice little program. I'm interested to see how the border war with Mizzou develops into somewhat of a rivalry. Good luck guys and better luck next year. I'm out of here.

At least our coach isn't dumb enough to have the QB to spike the ball when there was only 1 second left on the clock, when they should have kicked a FG to win against Ole Piss!!
