Is Weis gone at the end of the year? If so, will Urban leave the Sunshine State to take his "dream" job? It couldn't happen at a better time with Timmy leaving this year...What say you?

No. Meyer isn't going anywhere.

Gotta think Weis is gone. Don't really think Urban is going anywhere though.

I think he'd be crazy to leave Florida. He owns the state of Florida when it comes to recruiting and gets blue chippers from other states too. The other teams in the east won't challenge Florida for at least another year or two. So he's gonna have a shot at the national championship almost every year.
Notre dame's first call should be to Brian Kelly.

I'd say about a 30% chance this happens. Florida won't be that great next season, and ND will have tons of talent.

0% chance it happens. Meyer will be around for a while, sorry guys.

Why in the hell would he leave the best program in the best league? Also in the best recruiting state and making 5 Mil a year.
What can those people offer him that he doesn't already have?
NO WAY! Unfortunately for us.

My question is this: What does Meyer have left to prove at Florida? He has won 2 National Titles and had a Heisman winner. If he feels that his work there is done, then why not move on and prove he truly is a great coach by rebuilding a historic program? Plus, by all accounts ND is his dream job...

This year Meyer is finding out what Spurrier said about Gator fans. They're 9-0 and complaining that it hasn't been a pretty 9-0 with lots of blowouts.
Spurrier got tired of it and went to the NFL.

He'd be nuts to leave Florida, he owns the recruiting in that state he has the East no team at present in the East can rival UF. COupled with FSU going down the crapper like it's the tea cup ride at disney world and the fact FSU has another NCAA investigation going on UF will continue to own in state recruiting.
Meyer loses a lot of talent in the near future but UF has reloaded with talent year after year. He will leave one day but I'd be surprised if he left now as I can't think of a place where it would be an upgrade for him.

If ND agrees to lower the standards for admission on football ... I see him going.

This.
CUM wouldn't be able to recruit the type of player at ND that he needs to win at the collegiate level.

I'm still pissed at Les for leaving for Michigan two years ago.
