Not so fast DJU can pull a stunner of a horrid game.

3:30 national game proving again that, irrespective of records, the Iron Bowl is the most attractive and famous rivalry in college football. No other comes close.

Or Gary wants one last game to polish Saban

SC’s defense will make him look like a Heisman candidate

I disagree completely. At one time maybe. But Now? No way. LSU games with BAMA are intensely more intriguing, especially now going forward. The LSU/BAMA game will decide the West for the next decade. I can remember a couple of games here and there over the last 10 years or so when the Iron Bowl actually meant something. Now? Not so much.

I am curios, do Aggie fans want to go back to having Texas as the game Friday after Thanksgiving.

As long as we end up with some combination of Arkansas, Texas A&M, LSU and Texas playing each other the last week of the season, I think all four of our schools will be happy.

Why do I feel like the Auburn @ Alabama game will be a close game with some crazy SEC-refs-only frickery happening?

If it were at Jordan-Hare I would give Auburn a legit chance at winning, but I still think it'll be one of those WTF games

My preference is for LSU to keep playing Aggie the last week. If Texas comes in and the Texas/Aggie game goes right back to where it was in the SWC/Big12 Days, that just reinforces Texas as big Brother, to me. Aggies went out to the SEC on their own and did not play Texas on the Friday after Thanksgiving now for 11 years. They can play Texas maybe first week of November or in game 8 and then take a bye before 4 game home stretch in November.

Arkansas can play Texas that weekend.

All of this

I have zero attachment to the Arkansas game on Thanksgiving. All the timing ever accomplished was screwing up the day of the holiday.

Whoever we have to play to do the game on Saturday would be great. A&M works but I'd even accept Tulane rather than the Thursday Thanksgiving game.

CBS isn’t passing up Iron Bowl ratings. It’s a big money draw for them.
