They were cool for one game, but the classic Patriot stripe reminded me of Arkansas’s tusk shoulder strip

not going to lie, I miss the M State on the pant leg from the Dak days. The white pants were amazing

The stamp on the pants was the one uniform feature that kept them from being perfect. frick are you talking about?

the black jerseys are great once a year. that’s it. I loved the MState pants tho. Especially on white.

Classic-style unis should be classic. No need to throw in a random "modern" feature, imo. The stamp on the pants looked totally out of place.

I feel like Scott Stricklin just let Adidas do whatever the hell they wanted, and Cohen has tightened things up a bunch.

NVM found a still shot. Is JTM Johnny Majors?

Yes it is...All Honor to his name.

Ol' Johnny could have taught Lane Kiffin a thing or two about chasing tail in Knoxville. Kiffin is an amateur.

Arkansas-UGA is going to be a very nice looking game aesthetically speaking.

I think he's referring to these, the ones using the New England Patriots template as an alternate

Yep, that's the one. I wasn't having much luck finding images of them.

Yeah I just took a wild guess and googled "Mississippi state patriots uniform" and got lucky but knew what you were referring to.

Remember when Arkansas did the same with the Cowboys template a couple years ago?

yeah I'm not a fan either, nor was I a fan of the New England original version. Very early 2000s-ish with unnecessary piping and odd stripes

I'm very glad most SEC schools have pretty traditional, clean uniforms now and most of the ones that had gotten away from it have gone back to it. I think the only outliers now are Kentucky and Missouri, both of whom used to have great uniforms before they let Nike go crazy. Kentucky's would honestly look fine if they would ditch the checkerboard stuff and not wear chrome helmets and/or black alternates. And Missouri 100% needs to go back to this

Tennessee

If Tennessee was wearing the orange pants, it would pretty much be back to what they wore on the road pre-1987. Have to go back to pre-Johnny Majors to find pictures of them in white on white without any trim around the numbers and dual stripes on the pants. I freaking love it.

I can't think of anything more lame to talk about.
Maybe they should consider a runway walk?
