Throughout the year, I’m going with the USA Today coaches poll. It’s what ESPN and the SEC use. I’d much rather see coaches rankings than pick 1 of 10 random baseball sites.

I’d rather see the rankings of over 300+ Division 1 coaches who have played against and recruited these players. Also, I like to keep it uniform with the TV networks.
Baseball America rankings are determined by 8 journalists. Those guys also cover MLB and High school, so I doubt they watch a ton of games either. Not to mention most of them are from the same area of the country.
D1Baseball is literally a 6-person team. That’s not nearly enough people to get accurate rankings.
Keep in mind the Coaches Poll has not been updated yet, so Florida will probably ranked much higher when it updates.

The point remains that college coaches aren’t watching enough games to accurately rank the teams. You see that in football too.
Perhaps other ranking systems don’t watch enough games either. That’s fair.
