Man....I don't know about you but I don't trust this team to step up with hits. We pitched our way through a lot of games. We also came up with huge hits when needed. Don't see it happening this year with this team. Hope they prove me wrong.

Thats what happens when you lose your starting 3B,SS & 2B to graduation/pros. Bunch of new faces in the batting order.

Yep. I find it funny that in a year where I thought we were a 20-25 ranked team nationally, we still hang around in the west. Let's me know where teams like mst,om, bama really are. I think lsu will be the only sec team with a shot at making a run in Omaha.

We will not make Omaha unless our hitting picks up. We got lucky last year and just had timely hits in the post season. IF we can do that again we have a shot. If not we will get bounced quickly. Good pitching can only do so much for you. Thank god we have that though.

We can only hope our bats pick up but I have seen no sign that would lead me to believe these guys can do it. Good team, just not good enough.

During DVH's post game conference after the LSU game they asked him about Nebraska and he said he didn't know much about their pitching. LOL.

At least our ship knows how to get to Omaha. The rebel baseball ship usually crashes and burns halfway there.
