I've never seen a fanbase melt so hard when Bama loses. Even a basketball game.

Wins a super down SEC, makes a sweet 16 with a senior laden team and y’all are on track to win it all with Oats.

We were so much better than we showed tonight. I hate to see us lose playing so short of our best, but it is what it is.
Great season for the Tide! I'm proud of the boys and the way they changed the culture of Alabama basketball by following the leadership of Coach Oats and playing their asses off all season. We'll be back in the Sweet 16 again before long with another opportunity for NCAA Tournament glory.
Oats isn't playing around. The way he's recruiting and building depth we may be back in the thick of it next season. We'll see.

Great season but Bama had a path to the final four that you don’t get too often. Sweet 16 is nice but what could have been would eat at me.

Great season. The SEC is morphing into a very talented basketball conference.
Bama had the talent, but as is the case in the Big Dance, things happen. UCLA is a hot team, and given a full season, they would have been better than a play in 11 seed.
The Sweet 16 is always a nice step. It just sounds better than Round of 32.

I don’t know, Florida often gets some lower seeds late in the regionals.

A team that is “clearly” better doesn’t need a buzzer beater 3 to allow them a double digit loss in OT. UCLA is very good. Bruins best player missed the end of regulation and OT. Bama had an awesome team, and UCLA appears to have a damn good squad also.
