Ole Miss is the best story in college football in many years. Partly thanks to lsu and Kiffin being among the worst. And Ole Miss or Indiana winning the title would be very good for the sport.

I doubt the benevolence of Lane.

Lane has his reasons for doing that. Probably saved him from a golf ball.

Very retarded comment because you can’t even point to one bad decision outside the two point call. And Georgia scored a defensive touchdown.

All true. All good points. Fair and accurate.

At least one of them did don’t care if he offered them or not.

Sorry, but I'm pretty sure that is Indiana.

Both started outside the top 20 I believe. But the Ole Miss story has far more compelling elements to it. Both great stories though.

Why? Hoosiers are the one now.

Who can't get behind an out of nowhere team with a coach who exudes a Saban-like cool, calm and confidence? Beats Kirby's constant fat boy gymnastics on the sideline for 60 minutes.

But Ole Piss would be my 2nd choice. Can't stand the Canes' strutting macho man coach. Oregon would be my 3rd.

Kinda pull for southern teams 1st, sec as well, but Hoosiers wouldn't hurt my feelings.

Indiana has a highly experienced roster. Average age of starters is 22.5. A team of men playing against boys doesn't do it for me.

Wait. Y’all hated Golding at Alabama. Now he’s a great coach? Y’all sure are some strange people

Who said Great? He did better than I thought he would. He's giving great interviews. You always want people to grow, even Saban grew as a coach.

I'm pulling for either of you, but I give Indiana a little more credit given their history and talent ratings. What's going on there might actually change the sport for the better in terms of all this NIL crap.

I've been trying to point out for years how much development matters and that elite players are talented players that have been developed and how development is slacking off because of NIL and players not caring about it. It seems like Indiana is proving that development and having players who want to be developed is more valuable than talent getting paid who doesn't care about it.

You'll be seeing much more of this behavior from Bama fans as we descend further into tDecline.

What a time to be alive.

You guys are already there. How's that rock bottom feel? I mean do we need to start more threads about how yall really afforded Kelly's buyout?

I've no problem pulling for other teams and other teams players if they ain't playing Bama. I've pulled for lsu and have some favorite former lsu players.

You don’t know that Golding is a good head coach. He was literally handed the entire team and coaching staff built by Kiffin 3 weeks ago. None of Ole Miss roster and playcalls were made by him.

If he does it next year or the year after that, then yes. But he’s not responsible for any of the head coach success in building this roster or play call development.

Kiffin is still the ultimate reason for their current success. Whoever found Chambliss is really the ultimate reason.

Ole Miss should thank LSU for letting their new coaches continue to coach at Ole Miss. otherwise their season would be over.

Not sure if you realize this but Golding is the defensive coordinator. Really hope this helps your confusion.
