What about our TE getting picked on a cross route and called for OPI?

This is what I mean. What a dumb as thing to say. That isn't a pick.. a defensive player can't get called for something like that 5 yards from the line of scrimmage.

We just have dumb fat drunks who know nothing about football making claims because they're trying to find an excuse for why they were heavily favored by officiated with missed calls of PI, targeting, etc.

The guy who did the PI ripped of a helmet with the face mask and targeted our star WR. He shouldn't have even been in the game to do the DPI

It was absurd how many times bama held on both ends of the line. Not one call I don’t think. Refs were in their pocket as usual. HBTMFD

Ok. It was absurd how many no calls UGA got on obvious facemask penalties. Not one call.

All I was saying was that I am NOT one of those fans that make such excuses for a loss. There's good and bad among all fanbases. Which one are you?

Me and you are in agreement brotha. Like I said at the end of the day the blunt of this loss falls on the offense and the play calling. Bad calls happen in every game and I'm fully aware that there have been some calls in games that went Bama's way that shouldn't have. All I'm saying is that missed calls in a game of this magnitude is unexcusable and the SEC reffing has been getting worse and worse year after year and something should be done about this. No team in the SEC should have the refs impact the efforts that they do on the field because the refs are negligent and can't do their jobs. That's literally all I'm saying

That isn't a late hit, he didn't slide forward he dove so the runner is open to contact.

That late hit their saying happened was so ticky tac it's basically a reach but I'll give it to them just to have them feel better about themselves but if that happened to any other team that still wouldn't have been called.

You and Ystar should duke it out he doesn’t think it was holding.

It’s not a an illegal hold. See rule 9.3.3. Defender trying to go around the lineman. The reason being with swim move or rip move in this case, goal is to hook/bat the arm of the OL. It’s counter leverage to defend by keeping the arm extended and actually decent job by the OL.

Ref saw it. Didn’t call it. Because it’s. Not. Holding. See actual rule.

You probably shouldn’t have punched our guy. Twice.

Honestly, this game was very close throughout and UGA could have very well gotten screwed by the refs, too. I saw bad calls or no calls throughout. I’m not gonna blame that for our loss, but come on. Right before halftime the clock wasn’t even set right and had run off several seconds before DeBoer went for it on 4th and goal and we got the lead before halftime. If that hadn’t worked, we absolutely would be griping about the time expiring when we actually had more time.

Ok that's 1. I will agree that should have been called
I’m fairly certain that exact type play has been deemed not to be a hold.

Your hand or arm can be there if you’re moving your feet with the rusher and aren’t stopping your momentum to slow the guy.

I think I’ve even seen it explained by a professional. And regardless, that exact play is ignored by refs ALLLLLLL the time.

Here is a bad version of that type of hold

And if it was a running back it would have been a penalty too.

You can't hit a ball carrier once they are clearly down on the turf.

I totally forgot about that one. It was a shite show all game long. That's why I can't understand how some of these guys just ignore some of the messed up officiating that went against us.
