We all agree that Bama will make the playoffs, right?

OSU’s loss pretty much assured Bama a spot. Also, if that isn’t enough the REC will get it done.

Bama can lose one game and still get in. This is a fact.

Can they? yes. Is it a lock? no

It all depends on how things stay and who they lose to.

If things stay the same - 1 loss to LSU or AU or even GA in SEC championship game Bama is in.

I agree Bama will get in after they win the SECG. I know nobody is beating Bama with Tua at qb, but if you are saying the SEC will get 2 teams in this year. Then I will remind you that if Notre Dame takes a spot, there isn't enough room for 2 SEC teams.

I bet OSU was that confident just a handful of days ago

You keep winning, you're in.

If you lose, you better turn the REC on Clemson, Notre Dame, Michigan, and/or Oklahoma.... because if Bama fails to win the West Division again, all of those teams are likely to have better resumes barring an upset.

If Notre Dame wins out, they are in.

Clemson will be in.

The SEC winner is in.

Number 4 could be a little harder to determine depending on the conference winners. Hard to pass on a BIG 10 champ or Big 12 champ with one loss instead of taking two from the SEC.

Average topic/discussion as bama is not going to lose a game. Fantastic team and playing well.

Certainly their favorable schedule is helpful, but they are doing it on the field every week.

Well since 13 of the 16 teams that have made the playoffs have had 1 loss it appears that many teams can make the playoffs with one loss. That is a fact also.

Depends.

Undefeated Clemson would be in
Undefeated ND would be in
SEC Champ is in

#4 spot would be 1-loss BigXII Champ (OU or Tx), 1-loss Bama, 1-loss Michigan (B1G Champ)that just beat tOSU

OU, Texas, and Michigan are all big name teams that would be favored by the national media just as much as Bama.

That said, if ND takes a loss, then Bama is all but assured a spot.
