Corey Grant shouldn't be on the watchlist, because he sucks.

Is that better?

It wasn't a strong argument and lacked any evidence, but I'm going to accept it because the bar must be lowered for you bama fans.

TJ was the #8 RB in the conference last season. Not bad as a backup.

Tre Mason was #7 RB. Grant didn't make the top 50.

Your link is sorted by yards per game.

If you sort it by Overall yards by a running back (no Manziel) then Keith Marshall is 11.

If you sort it by Yards per Carry, Keith Marshall is #1.

I just thought I would point that out.

Going by total rushing yards, Yeldon was 5th as far as SEC rbs, Lacy was 2nd.

@WDE24

So yes, having more than one Alabama RB option on the list would make a lot of sense.

Henry and Drake will split the secondary carries IMO and neither will get the same touches Yeldon got.

What else would you use to judge who is the best RB?Passing yards?

attempts and ypc should be accounted for also

Well going by ypc Yeldon and Lacy were 2nd and 3rd.

Yeldon was top 5 in total yards and ypc, he was 9th in number of carries.

Yelson and Gurley are 1a and 1b imo, hard to choose between them, will be interesting to see which one does the best this season.

There are 4 AU backs.

And not a damn one of them would sniff a start at Bama/LSU/UGA.
Therefore your list is invalid as frick!

Ha

Yeldon played in 2 more games than Mason, Perkins, & Lawerance, all which had more ypg than he did.

Yeldon played in 1 more game than Gillislee & Stacy, both of which had more ypg than he did.

Why the frick would you use total yards?

Let's also not forget the stat in which 'bama RBs were 1st in the country in yards gained before contact.

This is no knock on Yeldon. He's a hellava back and will be at/near the top of the list at the end of 2013 (unless he gets injured obviously). And under Saban, 'bama usually gets two RBs in the top 10. Just leave it at that and stop trying to skew it to your favor as to why Henry should be in the list because of what Yeldon did last year. Yeldon is a better back than he is. I personally think he's a better all around back than Richardson (not by much).

Lol Phil Steele as well as some others had Henry ranked as the best high school rb, he did after all break the national high school rushing record. He may end up being the best RB that we've had at Alabama under Saban, anyone who wouldn't put Henry on the list either hasn't watched his highlight film,or knows absolutely nothing about RBs.

Four pages and still no Mike Davis or Brandon Wilds on the list.

List is invalidated. I should not have had to waste my time even posting in this thread in an effort to bring attention to your negligence.

People still take him seriously?

247 didn't even have him listed as RB. Rivals had him as the 5th best RB (Yeldon was 2nd and ranked higher nationally).

Maty Mauk holds the HS passing record. My guess is you've probably never heard of him. If you have, it's probably because of his mugshot that showed up on here about a year ago.

Ron Dayne holds the career rushing record. Case Keenum holds the career passing record. BJ Symons hold the single season passing record. Are they the best ever at their positions?

Everyone looks great in their highlight film.

Or that person would look at the history under Saban, where one back is in the 1-3 range and the other is in the 8-11 range.

It's a troll list, there originally were 3 Auburn RBs on it.The downvotes on the OP tell the story.
