I do look at each game log and how RB's have performed against the best defenses and discount RBs who simply pad stats against weaker teams (see Vic Ballard).
It is hard to do it as simply as you state because, for instance, Crowell didn't have to face Bama, LSU or UGA (the three best running defenses in the SEC IMO). Also, Ware and Ford didn't have to play LSU or UGA. Etc., etc.
ETA: However, good games against LSU, Bama, UGA and UF are weighted more heavily because those 4 teams have the best run defenses in the league. Also, good games against Ole Miss and Auburn are discounted slightly because those two teams can't stop anyone.

Then I see no problem with your picks if you have taken that into account.

I swear an Auburn fan posts this exact same thread after every weekend because Michael Dyer being a decent/good RB is the ONLY solace you can find in an otherwise shitty season and shitty team. We get it - Dyer is a good RB. Congratulations. Now bend over because the pain train is coming to the Plains this weekend. My advice - lube up before hand so it goes in easier.

Point made...LSU is RB by committee...they have good backs but not that one single great RB...
