Way too many dumb threads by “OU” fans….

Or alters. Whatever it is, why the crap talk against the SEC? There is no ammo. There is nothing to justify saying anything. You make us few decent OU fans really look bad. OU has ZERO big wins against an SEC team that had any importance.
2014 Sugar vs. Alabama? NO! Alabama lost their SEC and NC hopes the previous game. Alabama had nothing to play for. If anything, it was to showcase what Derrick Henry was going to bring to the table.
2017 Sugar vs. Auburn? War Eagle had FOUR losses coming in.
2020 Cotton vs. Florida? Gators had several key personnel missing.
Remember, we have to live with 0-5 vs. the SEC when it matters. There is nothing we can say to justify starting threads talking down the current SEC.
Just shut the F up!

The threads are very clearly troll jobs or shite posts by alters (probably the guy who started one of the “where are all the OU posters?” threads.

I have my doubts that you are an OU fan. No OU fan would come with the normal SEC excuses they give every time they lose.
If SEC can't show up to bowl games when they don't win the conference then they have a serious motivational problem within their conference.
If you want to say OU has not been elite, hell, I am right there agreeing with you. I wasn't really happy with several of our selections into the playoffs.
But too many people here are judging OU only based on their games with SEC champions. You damn well know that is unfair and no SEC team outside 'Bama would want to use that measuring stick against their own team. They extrapolate those games and assume we won't be competitive against A&M, LSU, Auburn, Florida, or Georgia.
We bring up those other games (all against traditional SEC powers) to prove that while we haven't been SEC champion caliber, we have had solid teams that can compete and win against most SEC teams.
But, maybe you are right and Alabama, Auburn, and Florida are just snowflakes who decide not to show up quite often in non-playoff games.
And I'd add Georgia in that list of snowflakes since they used the all too well known list of excuses when Texas beat them.

Meh, I like the Aggie fans. They feel that they’ve made progress the last few years and they probably have. I can see the growth in that program. Texas is the same suck arse team they were 8 years ago. But, we’ll be told “ Texas is Back”

And I will add, if we're going by that standard, we were disinterested in playing A&M in that bowl game. Works both ways, right?
Except that we are man enough to admit we got our butt kicked by a better team that year. Given, a team that was recruited to play in the Big 12 and a school we have dominated but they did kick or butt that one time.

I haven't done that. Not sure what you are talking about. I guess this thread is about someone else.
In the thread that was started to bash OU, I did mention those games and every damn one of them were relevant to the point I was making.
