I don't feel devastated by it. Some UGA fans do. I think I would if it were in the old format. In some ways, I feel better coming off of it than I do the UK win.

That is weird. I would be devastated if we had lost under any circumstances. That was the first time you guys have been in our house, since forever, with actual fans in the seats. It's the very first time that our fans had a chance to show out. We came to your place in 2008 (Blackout) and 2015 (Hurricane) as underdogs both times. And both times your fans were waiting on us and doing everything in their power to make it a special moment.

I get that real rivals are either historic in nature or they came about because of 30 years of being in the same division and having to fight your way out. But BAMA vs Georgia is getting there, mostly based on Atlanta and meeting in the Playoffs. Now it looks like the SEC is going to have us all seeing each other a lot more. If you can't feel this budding rivalry by now you really should check your pulse.

Everything you said means ‘if we had just played better we could have won’ . And ‘we were smart enough to win’. Listen to yourself man. Last week you almost lost to Kentucky.

We could still lose a game and be in the playoff. That's really all that matters. Great game though, even though it sucks.

I guess the way I was feeling about our season at halftime and at the end of the game being quite different has something to do with it. And looking at the game film kind of says we're not as bad as we looked.

I was telling people, after our game @ bama last year, that milroe was the best athlete on the field and could be Bama's Vince Young if Bama schemes to his strengths. I still feel that way.
Bama is going to be a really tough out if he continues to improve at QB. I'm glad they aren't on our schedule.

- That said, there were plays to be made in both halves that we didn't make on their secondary that would've been explosives, possibly TDs.

Same for Bama against Georgia.

Funny how the converse of that litany you wrote would work against Georgia as well.

Funny how you idiots never think the other team can or will ever adjust and are not thinking the same.

It's easier to force third down when the offense is treating third down like it's second down.
this is the copium. you are trying to assert that having to defend 4 downs and getting a team into a 4th down situation is somehow easier when that team is going for it every time, but thats not how probability works. How Georgia decides to use those 4 plays doesnt change the fact that Bama has to defend each one, and the probability of success of each one is discrete to that play. You are trying to make it sound like Georgia was doing a throw away garbage play on evey first down and then it was just like playing 3 downs and bama couldnt stop it. No, you had 4 plays to go 10 yards on every drive, thats 2.5 yards per play. Yes bama failed to stop it for much of the second half (with some ref help), but thats more along the lines of a statistical anomaly rather than an inability to get a stop, which they are clearly capable of doing, reference the first 2 quarters. But they did bow up and come through at the end, just like the bama offense did. Just go wow, that was a crazy good game, our guys never stopped fighting and they almost pulled it off against the odds, instead of trying to downplay what bama did on defense, when you know that any team including yours is susceptible to that shite if the other team has nothing to lose because they have already lost. Especially if you just saw in that game that your own defense is susceptible to getting owned and the other team is only using 3 downs to do it.

Fellers, if Milroe was so damn "scary good", it would have showed* up way before that last game.

The dude had a good game, lots of players have good games - didn't he lose to Texas last year? And up till now, hadn't* most of his good plays been running plays? He landed some great throws against UGA, but I can tell you a couple those were pot luck.

No. Most of his “good plays” have been deep passes. And he’s had some good runs.

So I guess you need to ask your own crew that question.

Not my crew. I'm not retarded. BAMA's defense owned uga despite the offense sharting themselves most of the 2nd half.

Everyone is gonna have a problem with Milroe. But I would think Tennessee and LSU especially are probably gonna make a good many explosive plays on Bama's secondary though.

Alabama scored 41 points on the UGA defense. They may scored a hundred on LSU.
