No one will question the objectivity of your post.

It's really sad to see people like your so consumed over things so trivial.

Get a clue a Corky.

I think Nicks all time record against Auburn now is like 6-7.
i`ve never considered Nick a great in game coach, of those 12 or 13 meetings against AU his team has been the more talented in at least 9 or 10, that being said he is such a great recruiter and fundamental coach that it usually doesn`t matter.

He made one huge mistake IMO. Not kicking the short FG to try and go up double digits when he went for it on fourth and 1. The kicker had struggled, but it was a really short one and our Dline was manhandling their Oline all night in short yardage situation. Was a much higher percentage play.

I can't criticize him on the Kick 6. I didn't want that second back on the clock to give them the shot at the FG and considering we had the best redzone D in the SEC last year and our run game, bama's chances in OT weren't good at all.

I'd Say a pretty good AU team had something to do with that game. People forget game was tied. Saban figured he could get a free kill shot at the end cause he didn't want to go to OT against malzahns offense. Even if kicker missed nick figures he still goes to OT.

Never figured on Chris Davis. I also think Malzahn doesn't get enough credit for calling time out and putting in the punt return team. That's great coaching.

That ought to be the ESPN copy for the summation. Well said and true.

People act like Saban missed 3-4 field goals. Saban missed blocks on 4th and 1. Saban false started on a made field goal. Any one of these things are executed correctly it's a huge win for Bama. It wasn't his masterpiece by any means, but hindsight is really easy.

Y'all act like Malzahn is the first coach to ever put a return man on a long FG attempt when in reality it happens on a majority of long FG attempts.

I think he was referring mostly to taking the time out, but of course you are right, long fg attempts warrant a return man.
