Just like everyone knew Miami would beat Bama in 92? Just like everyone knew Bama would destroy Utah in 08? Just like everyone knew Ohio st would destroy Florida in 06? Get real. If Bama comes out and plays like they did against Tenn or GSU they could be beat. Y'all weren't undefeated last year. Hell why didn't Bama play for the title in 2010. Y'all wouldve been favorites over everyone. Bama somehow gave away games but y'all were te best team. Why don't you play for it in 2010?
You clearly lost the battle and are just throwing up junk now. Bama was from the start, middle and end the best team in the country. Only LSU could challenge them for that.

It was pretty consistent. We beat the hell out of you on every play from start to finish.
Here you go forgetting about reality. The normal thing recently is for LSU to beat Bama. 2-1 the last three and we are 5-1 in the last six IN YOUR STADIUM. Our retard 3-3 against your Savior. After we win on nov 3 it will have been 1000 days since Bama beat LSU in a sec game

you're literally the only guy I've ever seen on this forum with a mirror picture.....sigh keep it going though, you've almost argued your points into oblivion.

so this has turned into a Okie Lite...and Bama discussion....SHOCKING!!!@#~
don't blame me for that one
I tried to stay on subject RE: FSU and Florida and some determined posters on page two started the hijack
RE: the OP? The Rose Bowl prevented the Arizona/FSU game that should have been - FSU was not excited to give Florida a mulligan but no one expected both Florida to win and Arizona to lose.

That is totally not true. All polls I saw at the time showed Bama as the overwhelming favorite for the title game. Actually, I think only the state of Oklahama and Lousiana had the edge for OSU.
bullshite the Espn sports nation poll had every state for OSU. The CBS blind poll which ha each teams resume but no team name had 90% OSU votes. But go ahead and don't believe reality and facts

Ok State beat four teams with 10+ wins including Stanford, OU, Baylor, and KSU. Bama beat 9 win PSU and 11 win Arkansas in the regular season
You're mixing and matching. If you're going to count Stanford for OSU then you have to count LSU for Bama. If you're not going to count LSU for Bama then you can't count Stanford for OSU.
My take on the resume issue: Bama's best win was significantly better than OSU's best win. OSU's loss was much, much, much, much worse than Bama's loss. OSU struggled to win a couple of their games, Bama didn't.
Eyeball test: OSU - great offense but pathetic defense. Bama - good offense and great defense.

I was throwing no blames out, just knew it would eventually turn into this lol.

So you're are telling me you would rather have faced OSU's schedule. You think a road to a national championship is harder through OSU's schedule opposed to Bama's. Now that is fricking hilarious.

So they were the 2nd best team. When has not winking the conf stopped Bama from claiming a title?

Well ricky here is going to use whatever he can to validate his points, which in fact are shite wrapped around more shite and then covered with even more shite.

FWIW I think Bama was a better team than Ok State but come on now. The only team on Bama's schedule that Ok State wouldn't have beaten (at least in the regular season) was LSU. Ok State beat four teams with 10+ wins including Stanford, OU, Baylor, and KSU. Bama beat 9 win PSU and 11 win Arkansas in the regular season.
Dot bring reality in here. These arky fans want to believe they were really one of the 5 best teams and that the SEC wasn't down.

Bruh shut up. Our 3rd best team struggled to beat ole miss. An ole miss team la tech destroyed at home. I know arky finished ranked high so you don't want to agree that te sec was down, but it was. Period. Our throw best team barely beat ole kiss and Vandy and our EAST champion got destroyed by Boise st in their state.
We were Ole Miss' super bowl for one. Plus we weren't a good team at all on the road. It was no secret. GA was also clearly not the best team in the east but played the game by default. Also, Vandy was a solid team. They could get up to play with almost anyone and it happened to be Arkansas. I knew from before that game started that it was going to be a long day.

I'm stating that Bama fans can say they were better than every team in CFb history. That doesn't mean they will win the game. I know Arky is new to this winning thing but shut up. You weren't one of the best teams in the country last year and arky isnt a top 20 Job.

How was the SEC down? from a year ago down? What's your basis for this one?

Yes last year Bama's schedule was easier. Not usually the case but last year yes. You do know Bama only beat 3 teams with a winning record last year and from nov 5th on played 1 team with a winning record. Bama's schedule was easy last year. Their two tough games were both at home. Come on. You're not to good at this.

I think the SEC in 2009 and 2011 were pretty similar. Two extraordinary teams and then a big dropoff.
In 2010 you had an absolute murderers row in the SEC West. The East was bad - but it wasn't much different in 2011.
And to the poster who pointed out I mixed and matched comparing OkS and Bama - you're right. I shouldn't have included Stanford for Ok State.

If he's not good at this, then you're the champion of arguing moot points.

This is facts GUMP. Facts. Can't be denied.
1. Bama beat 2 ranked teams and 3 teams with a winning record
2. OSU beat 5 ranked teams and 6 with a winning record.
3. OSU won their division and their conference.
4. Bama had one game against an elite team and lost at home.
5 the sec hasn't played the sec in a bowl game in 60 years.
6 most of the country though Bama didn't deserve to be there. Hence on of the worst tv ratings for a title game in the history of bowl games.
7. Our 3rd best team struggled I beat teams that were destroyed by directional states schools.
8. Never has who you lost to outweighed who you beat in selecting BCSCG participants.
These are facts gumps. Not some shot I made up.

Good points, what does it really take for the SEC not to be down? 2-3 teams ranked in the top 10 in the east too?
