Please explain to me what relevance the ESPN.com fan poll plays in determining the #2 team under the BCS formula.

I think this is your issue - you want Arkansas to get more credit for being outstanding.

That comes in years when you don't get destroyed by two teams from your division. Arkansas was also very fortunate to emerge unscathed against Ole Miss, A&M, and Vanderbilt.

Your probably right about the Arky fan wanting more love, but in his post he was just pointing out how absurd ole Rick is. Can't really say K State was a good win for OSU when that game was tight the whole time, and then just say that Arkansas was ho-hum when they blew K State away.

Arky wants credit. Don't struggle I beat teams that directional Louisiana teams destroy in their house

I'm not asking for credit at all. Simply stating the fact that you cannot say Arkansas is clearly not a top 5 team, yet say OSU deserved a shot at the national title. They played common opponenets and Arkansas came out better. I'm saying Arkansas was just as deserving top 5 team as any in 2011. It does not mean they should be a top 5 team all-time. Also, the fact is Arkansas still got those wins. They could have gotten beat by a shitty team like ISU, but the fact is they didn't.

LSU should have clearly lost to Tenn in 2010, as well as multiple other school, but didn't. Should we say they weren't a top 10 team? No, because they didn't lose the games.

I do believe ULM beat a Saban coached Bama squad. Sorry but Ole Miss played their super bowl against us at home and still couldn't win.

I bet you don't have a problem with playing Oklahoma in 2003, just because that worked out for you.

You don't know me. I, with most of the LSU football team, and most of the country, thought it should be, and wanted, USC. OU had just got beaten 35-7.

Don't use that logic - it means any team who played Ole Miss, Vandy, and A&M was probably better than Arkansas.

RE: the Arkansas was definitely a top five team? I don't know about that. They were ranked in the top five but I think USC would have handled Arkansas and teams like Stanford and Boise very well might have beaten them as well.

I know some hog fans get riled up about this kind of thing - but you have to understand the point of view of a LSU (or perhaps Bama) fan on this. You got drilled by both teams and really stumbled past some bad teams early in the season.

But you want to give credit to OSU for winning their conf and losing to a shitty ISU team? Right....totally makes sense.

It's the same logic ole Rick has been using though

And what would you say if I told you LSU didn't deserve to be ahead of us or in the top 10 in 2010, because they had mulitple close calls with inferior opponents? I'm not saying Arkansas was a clear cut top 5 team--they were. But I'm saying they are just as likely as any other team you could put in there. Like stated earlier, LSU and Bama were on another level from the rest of college football. So honestly, 3-8 could have gone anyway. Just so happened that Arkansas was one of the top 5.

Not sure what you're going by here but you're wrong.

If you're talking ranked at the time they played:

AP: Bama 3, OSU 4
USA: Bama 3, OSU 4

If you're talking rankings in the final polls (before bowls):

BCS: Bama 3, OSU 4
AP: Bama 2, OSU 3
USA: Bama 2, OSU 3

So basically your "facts" are incorrect once again.

You also have to look at when teams lost you sleeveless d-bag.

But your anger and bitterness is quite satisfying however.
