Was it really upsets OR did we see young coaches making their mark?

Were Florida and Auburn win upsets?
Or was it a case of two up and coming coaches taking over rosters that had some talent and coaching it right?
Sort of like Saban in 2000 at LSU. Lost 4 games but upset Tennessee and MSU that same season.

You are seeing the changing of the guard.

That's what I was wondering.

Judging by Golesh' post game presser, I don't think he expected to win that game. It was a little Beamer-esque.

I think it's a lot more that NIL/transfer rules are continuing to level all the teams.
The elite teams don't have the depth.
The hot topic super coach this week will be losing to an unranked underdog in a few weeks.

We are already 7 weeks into the schedule. How much longer do you want to wait to address it?
If anything, this perpetuates the cycle of coaches in the SEC. The days of the "give me 3 or 4 years to turn it around" cushion are gone. Indiana proved that last year, and everyone is trying to copy and improve the model.
I think it can directly be contributed to the coaching hires and getting the team to buy in.
