Not saying you're wrong but you might want to wait until after we have more than just a freshmen season to judge
ETA: of course you predicted he would be better, he was committed to your team, but forgive me if I put more credit and faith, year in and year out, into a recruiting website than you.

This post is so full of fail, I don't even know where to begin...

Hugh Freeze used some less than legal/ethical means to recruit players to Ole Miss last year. A lot of coaches in the conference started asking questions. The fact that Ole Miss's recruiting class this year is so inferior to the class he put together last year tells me there was some truth to the rumblings.

I only check in once a day or so, and I really think that Aeris is probably the best player in the state this year. .
Of course you do because he is committed to your school. I'm not saying he's not good, but come on, two different sites including your beloved Scout have other players listed before him. I bet you wouldn't think the same thing if he was committed to OM.

That's great. Think that. There are many people who would disagree and many (although fewer) who would agree, but if you can't see how self-serving your argument is then you're either self-unaware or willfully ignorant.

Tony Conner was a freshman all-American at safety. Not saying you're "out of line" or anything, because Jones is a great player, but Tony Conner is pretty goddamn great himself. I'd say the edge is in Conner's favor, but it's closer to a coinflip than it is anything.

I assume that Fant has a fantastic career rolling as a used car dealer somewhere.
He's better than that. He's an insurance salesman I bet.

Yep, Connor and jones will both make plenty of money. Personally, I am happy that we are able to get top talent from our state, and also from others now. Oh, and TSUN bearz is some cheatin sunsabitches, clanga...

I'm not reading the 10 pages of this thread. This is all I need to know. Clanga

There have been posters from OM, LSU, State, and Bama all trying to vie for the title of Best Window Licker.

There was one clear winner.

No dog in the fight, but I fail to see why the success last year and the perceived fail this year means cheating. Could be that so many young good guys in the barn could discourage other top players from signing

Nobody but the highly delusional is calling this years class a failure

Such as?
Well known that recruits were getting $1000 just to visit last year.

Ole Miss has the potential to make a bowl game most years and compete for a division title once or twice a decade. They just do not have the resources to be a perennial power, and never will. That's not a knock on Hugh Freeze or anything he's been doing because he seems to be doing all the right things to keep Ole Miss respectable and competitive. It's just a harsh reality that a small school in a small state like MS with no winning tradition has to live with.
Your analysis is impeccable... In other breaking news, summers in the Southeast are very hot and humid while the winters are a bit milder than those throughout the Great Lakes and New England.
