Now that the FBI is involved, is it plausible that they got Rogers to sing, and now the whole MSU crew is bellowing tunes to avoid any possible charges. Rogers is a criminal, but a big-time booster like Bell is probably just a relatively average guy that never thought he could end up doing time. Now that people are singing, its a mad race to turn it into a he-said/he-said, where there will be no resolution legally due to lack of evidence. In the meantime, they did have the Cecil Newton smoking gun in the form of text and voicemails but they were ordered (or realized they needed) to delete them all when they realized they committed violations by continuing to recruit Cam.

For the record, if this is the case, then Auburn is FUBAR. NCAA has acted from way less. Auburn's best hope of getting off scott-free is getting the FBI involved (IF IF IF they are indeed innocent).

I know how nutty it sounds. I love good conspiracy theories though.

Do I at least get credit for not titling the post:

"MSU GETTING DEATH PENALTY/CAM GRANTED ANOTHER 4 YEARS OF ELIGIBILITY FOR AUBURN"

I thinking Auburn and MSU are both in trouble. I just don't think MSU is going to feel the wrath of god like Auburn is.

MSU is guilty of some sort of NCAA violation whether it is a major/secondary(most likely) they will feel the hammer to but not as hard as Cam and AUburn

They didn't want anything out of MSU, they wanted to talk to Rogers about PFP.

Probably nothing.. But the NFL is investigating Rogers for trying to pose as a NFL Agent.. Since the NFL has ties all over the country the Feds become investigators for his money laundering scams.

At the end of the day, everyones going to be called to the principals office and get told to shut the f*** and stop snitching. Auburns people are keeping quiet (not leaking meaningless stories) because they think they are in the clear. Leaks are coming from other people to put all the heat on AU. And I don`t even think MSU or anyone will get in trouble either. It seems like this story is now FUBAR.

MSU is not going to get in any trouble over this

For the life of me I cannot understand people thinking that State would have turned this in if there was any chance of them getting into trouble. That would have to be the stupidest thing anybody has ever done.

You can say it a million times and wish it all you want- it ain't happening

Is there any precedent for the feds investigating an NCAA matter?

talk about head in the sand.

Cam was inelgible since the Egg Bowl. You guys recruited him afterwards with the intent on playing an ineligible player.

That is worse than AU. AU didnt know what they had. MSU did.

What do you think Dan Mullen would say if he was asked by an NCAA official as to why he continued to recuit soemone they knew was ineligible?

What would MSU be singing about? As far as I know it's not illegal to pay players, just unethical according to the NCAA.
