What would MSU be singing about? As far as I know it's not illegal to pay players, just unethical according to the NCAA.

I'm not sure what you mean, I did attend an unaccredited* university.

That is worse than AU. AU didnt know what they had. MSU did.

The NCAA is rushing to rule Cam ineligible to avoid a stain on the Heisman and, potentially, the BCSCG.

If AU does get implicated in illegal transactions of money...it likely will not become public until the Feds unseal the evidence that is simply complimentary to the charges against McGregor etc. whom they are investigating.

Did the gumps play Albert Means? Was fat Albert allowed to play at another program?

There's your precedent.

I hate to shite all over your parade, but the NCAA can reinstate your eligibility and you can go play elsewhere...

Thanks for playing.

At the end of the day, everyones going to be called to the principals office and get told to shut the f*** and stop snitching. Auburns people are keeping quiet (not leaking meaningless stories) because they think they are in the clear. Leaks are coming from other people to put all the heat on AU. And I don`t even think MSU or anyone will get in trouble either. It seems like this story is now FUBAR.

Dream situation?

The NCAA cut a deal with Albert Means to reinstate his eligibility and the money paid for him was paid to his coach without his knowledge, NOT to a family member.

quote:

Lest we forget the NCAA hierarchy, those guardians of academic integrity, cutting a deal for Means to leave Alabama and immediately become eligible at the University of Memphis. Means just missed playing for Rip Scherer, who happened to be a secret witness in the case against Alabama before he was fired as Memphis' head coach. And, in something of a first, the NCAA never questioned Mean's eligibility even though his former Trezevant High coach laid out how he paid a teammate $30 to take the college entrance exam for Means.
