I agree he is running better every game, but he is not gonna put up the same numbers that T-Rich and Ingram put up, like some Bama fans wanted to believe.

It seemed like we went back to last year against Ole Miss. Lacy was taking Richardson like carries and Yeldon was doing what Lacy did. One thing I've noticed is that the WRs aren't that good at run blocking. I expect Lacy to have two 150+ yard games so we can push him over 1000. We're passing a lot more this year though. Maybe not attempt wise, but play calling wise we're playing our hardest when we pass. Their are a few too many drops though.

This a another key to why our rushing numbers are down.

knew Lacy would not live up to the hype by Bama fans, by a mile

He's been that bad? He's averaging more ypc than Lattimore. His average will continue to rise as long as he stays healthy. Last two games he has looked like the Lacy of old, now just need the OL to help a little.

Lacy hasn't been bad, but there were Bama fans saying he would be a heisman candidate. I couldn't even fathom that. Lacy is a solid back that will support a better passing game.

Tow different offenses to this point. With McElwain at Bama this year and a healthy Lacy, he is on his way to 1200 or so yds. 60+ carries, 12 carries per game, not a very big sample size.

Hate to sound like a broken record but Fowler going out has hurt our overall rushing. We miss his yards but we miss his blocking in the I and as H back just as much. It will not surprise me if we don't have a back (Lacy or otherwise) put up much over 100 in a game.

Actually, we're not passing more at all. Much less, in fact.

Through 5 games in 2011: 142 vs 191 rushing attempts, 43%.
Through 5 games in 2012: 117 vs. 199 rushing attempts, 37%

You also have to factor in AJ has play much less through five games this year than he did last year. Other than Ole Miss, AJ has barely even played in the second half. AJ's passing numbers are probably close to equal what he did last year, with less playing time. I bet he has thrown way more touchdown passes this year than he had at this point last year.

No, not really. Against Kent State and North Texas last year, AJ split time with Philip Sims, playing only about half the game in each game.

Again, no. McCarron was in the Michigan game until at least the 9:00 minute mark of the 4th quarter. He was in the WKentucky game at the 8:00 or 9:00 minute mark of the 4th quarter.

I have never been a fan of Lacy. I actually like the guys running behind him better.

McCarron threw 25 passes in the first half alone against FAU. He has thrown 32 total passes in the second half this year of every other game combined.......

We are getting more turnovers this yr as well, having shorter fields. Much like lsu last yr with their short fields to score.

Yeah the amount of interceptions this year has been unreal. Seems like Bama is good for 2 or 3 a game.

I was surprised as well to see that we're passing less. It seems like we're passing more. I'd be surprised if we weren't throwing 60% or more while the game is still in doubt.
