Non conference schedules and results will be very important if the league wants to take the next step this year.
Pretty solid schedule after VOLS faced all 4 Final Four teams last year and 7 of the Elite 8 teams.

Great planning by Barnes to put the Ga Tech game the day after the SECCG in Atlanta.

Nice schedule. I wish we still played y'all twice every year. No clue why we play LSU twice instead. The basketball pairings were half assed imo.

I suggested Alabama do this. Atlanta is a great place to play in basketball for recruiting. The high school basketball in that area has become exceptional.

Yeah, it's a great series for any SEC team imo. First thing Barnes did when he got the job was sign a 4-game home and home with GT.
He also does a nice job getting to some good vacation spots in the colder months.
Maui last year, Bahamas this year and LA (@ UCLA and a game in Anaheim) next year.
