I'm just gonna be honest here....
I was arrested for battery in the 3rd degree. I shoved someone backwards to get them to quit following me. That is absolutely a low level battery

Am I defending that player? No. If you're so feral that you can't restrain yourself from attacking people running past you after a game, not only do you not need to be on the team, you need to be charged. I don't care if you play for LSU, Alabama, Tennessee, whoever.

Which LSU fans took up for him?
The LSU fan I was replying to was arguing that players can’t help themselves. I was providing video confirmation of that. If you had watched the video, you would have seen that the guy discussed multiple incidents when fans rushed the field; LSU, Oregon, Texas Tech and Alabama. But you are too smooth brained to be bothered with that.
This keeps happening, year after year, and people here keep acting surprised and outraged.

Tradition is more important than a little safety. Rushing the field needs to be preserved

What about the fans who are going onto the field with the intention of getting into an altercation with the opposing team? We keep seeing it. Should we be arresting them too? Or just the players?
You know what could eliminate this? The dumbass fans from running onto the field until the opposing players, coaches and staff are off the field.

Holy shite take Batman. Fan casually storming the field with their significant other… warrants pissy opposing player tackling them in frustration.
Right, okay. This country is overflowing with fkn morons.

There's already a lot of articles about it, so I guess we'll see if anything happens in the next few days.

Are sorority girls running on the field to fight players? Or do a few players have low impulse control and need to be charged for assaulting fans? I think it's the latter.

If you arrest the player for assault, you must arrest the fan for trespassing. Fans have ZERO business on the field, court or any other playing surface.

Deep Fake. Smokey One says Georgia players should be kicked off the team for speeding. I'm guessing he thinks this guy should be sentenced to life in prison.
Smokey One?

You might be the only person on this board who believes rushing the field should be banned and you’ve acted this way since your boy Burton punched the sorority girl two seasons ago

From the video it appears that a sorority girl did in fact run onto the field. The sorority boy who walked between a group of Tennessee players, seeming to bump into them, is who took out this sorority girl. So yes, it does appear sorority girls are running onto the field.

I get what you are saying, but, if you are walking by somebody on the street and they do that to you do you think a slap on the wrist is sufficient?

It’s not “trespassing” & there would be no arrest — the conference fines the school not individual fans.
The charge of battery does not compare to the “charge” of taking the field after an upset lmao.
I understand there’s a danger, but the point is there shouldn’t be — football players should be held accountable to behave like civilized human beings just like everyone else.

Rushing the field IS banned. And I have always thought that storming the field was stupid. Do you not remember me ridiculing LSU for doing it before that Tennessee game. LSU did it two games in a row. Yikes.

These two put hands on the UT player. Too bad. They won't do that again.
Put hands on him? Nope. he put hands on them. Tennessee fans, folks.
The team that had a player arrested for felony assault, (plead guilty to it) and got a 2 game suspension last year.

If I’m the judge, I tell the fan that trespassing put you in the position you were in. 100% that never happens if fans don’t go where they have no business going.
