They didn’t have an 8 loss season until 2017. Even Dooley never had an 8 loss season.
Now they’re probably going to have two 8 loss seasons in 3 years.

"Saturdays in the South" talked about Vandy in their early episodes.
First team in the south to build a big stadium so they could attract the bigger, more prestigious northern schools to their campus.

Ole Miss avoided Alabama like the plague - they rarely played in the Vaught years.
What are you talking about?
They started playing every year in '65, in the 50s, Alabama was dogshit.

Vanderbilt had a really legendary 0-0 tie on the road at Yale in 1910. The whole Southeast rejoiced over the result, despite it being a tie.
Not sure if any Northern powers ever visited Vanderbilt.

You think Mizzou has over 600 SEC wins since they joined in 2012, including any other schools they played from the SEC before then?

It's all wins of current SEC teams. I wrote the title as it was.

Bama is the only Sec school in the 900 wins club.

God damn, State is Vandy’s bitch, when you look at the big picture.

Yeah, I’m not sure any of us are surprised about this. We sucked forever.
But what we do have is that our Heisman winning QB ends up the HBC, dominates the SEC for a decade, arguably changes the SEC, and finally takes us to the promised land.
That’s a pretty damned good story at the end of the day, and unique to us I think, at least in the modern era.

I would like to see a similar graphic starting in the early 1970's, when Title 9 went into affect. How relevant is what happened in 1886.

Well that was fricking depressing.

Not sure why that is crazy to people on here. Are ya'll 15?
The lack of real football knowledge and history of the game on this site is stunning, and not in a good way.
