Why does the field looks like it crinkles every time someone steps on it?

I’ve seen that called more in bowl games than the entire season. Which is to say, twice.

You made me wait 5 minutes for an offside call?

Ha! Our plan worked. We’ll have a halftime at least 30 seconds longer. Suckers.

Trying to understand the match up here.

Virginia Tech is....3rd or 4th best team in ACC?

Kentucky is.....8th best team in SEC? (Not sure if you would put ATM above Kentucky.)

So right now the difference in this game is 30 yards in penalties on the opening drive.

Good end to the half. Need to score on that first drive of the 2nd and get the lead.

It's almost always been like that. I think every year we played in the Music City Bowl it was against higher "ranked" team like Clemson and Florida State. Penn State was also ranked higher than us last year in the Citrus.

Wish we took Kash out on 3rd and 5 or more. His pass coverage is a weakness. I'm thankful for all the career tackles and the chicken sandwich interview but I won't miss him that much tbqh. H

The Big 12 got it the absolute worst. The Big 12 could feasibly go 0–6, although they'll probably win one.

#1 LSU vs. #4 Oklahoma (63–28, LSU)
#5 Georgia vs. #7 Baylor
#11 Utah vs. Texas
#15 Notre Dame vs. Iowa State (33–9, Notre Dame)
#23 Navy vs. Kansas State
#25 Oklahoma State vs. Texas A&M (24–21, Texas A&M)

8–4 Kansas State vs. 10–2/#23 Navy is their best chance for a win. OSU was the only game of six they should have been truly favored in, and they still lost that one.

I really don't how how this was allowed. LSU and Notre Dame were predictably unchallenged (although the LSU matchup couldn't really be helped), and I'll be surprised if Utah wins by less than three TDs.

I think Kentucky can win this. It seems this year that a lot of the bowl match-ups are lopsided.

Miss State vs Louisville comes to mind. Louisville is 3rd/4th best team in their conference. Mississippi State is 9th/10th best team in SEC?

They need to be restructured when the matchup is clearly going to be lopsided. Yeah, we all love upsets like Ole Miss vs. Texas Tech back in the '08 Cotton Bowl, but more often than not, it results in a one-sided beatdown that neither team's fans particularly have interest in.
