Regardless of who that really is, an adult drinking to the point they need physical assistance walking means the person has a problem.

"Never more than 2" is a good rule.

Now if he had turned to the camera and said "excuse me while I whip this out"... well then he's SEC COTY. Probably for the rest of the decade.

If it was Sumlin, which is pretty much impossible to tell, more power to him. Let he who has not been knee walking drunk cast the first stone.

I just love how people buy into the bullshite that college football coaches work every single day with ne'er a day off and work 17 hours each day.

Miles has great character. IMO, if he drinks I doubt he would ever be intoxicated in public.

I'm almost positive he doesn't and I remember reading something that said he eats the same meal for dinner every night. It's boring how clean and predictable Miles is.

That's awesome. I hope it's hamburger steak, baked potato, and broccoli.

Sark was fired at SC for this very thing. Sad if true.

That's an extremely narrow view though. He is the "Front Porch" of Texas A&M, their public face, their ambassador to the world. When you have enemies and detractors you don't give them ammunition. Not to mention the effect something like this can have on recruiting, which is the life blood of college football. Not to mention your current team's respect which is in absolute meltdown BEFORE this. It makes the whole program look shaky and out of control if your coach is a drunk. Especially IN season. This is a deal-killer whenever the powers that be deem it so. And not only that, but possibly violates the morality/personal responsibility clause of a contract. He may have just handed the noose to his detractors (*not racist).

Ask yourself how you'd like that video out there on YOUR coach. Jesus, if that was Les Miles it would be TOTAL melt down.

What i do not know is WHEN did this occur? I know it was just uploaded. But, when did the 'drunkeness' occur? That could have been at some coaching convention in the summer for all I know

True. If it happened on a school based trip (media days, bowl game, regular season game) etc. then it's an issue. What parent would want their kid playing for this guy? He's responsible for the 70 some odd kids who go to the games with him. I know my company would have big problems with me if I got plastered while representing them on a trip.

If it's footage of him from vacation or something else non-school related then no big deal except for the fact a 50 something year old man with a wife and children has no business getting that sloppy drunk.
