I understand all of that. I used to frequent 4chan and still get a good laugh at some of the trolling they do. It still bums me out when I see it and it's so widely accepted though, especially outside the confines of a site like 4chan. It wasn't that someone said it, but that it was the number one comment that bothered me. That, and the fact that people here were trying to justify it if the person "earns" the word.

Yeah, a guy who kicks another guy in the head in full view of the police during a street brawl, and then cheaply kicks another dude on national television during a game should be called a respectable word...for his psyche...or the mental well being of all blacks...or some other PC bullshite.
He earned the moniker. Let him live with it.

Consider, also, how big a troll's nest YouTube is though.

You'll see me. I'm going to lobby for positioning myself right in front of the students.

I see it as calling him that reflects poorly on you, which is something you can avoid just by calling his actions stupid. We're just not going to agree on this, so I'll leave it at that.
And, to cyde: I understand that too. I think it was more the fact that I figured the people that are liking the comment are genuine racists in the south since the video was from the game, which fits the stereotypes the columnists have been painting SEC fans in all week leading up to the game.

That very well could be the case, but my point is that the very nature of the modern Internet casts reasonable doubt on that assumption.

I'm facing some resistance with some Auburn fans, but I absolutely believe Eric Smith should be kicked off the team. Most people probably know about his past and how he was still left on the team after his assault charges, but the way he embarrassed Auburn yesterday is unacceptable.
He's a thug and always will be a thug, and we just don't need that on our team.
Same thing goes for Fairley, but to a lesser extent. He needs to cool his arse off or he's going to get destroyed in the NFL either by fines or players targeting him ala Hines Ward.

Wow an objective post for once, major props. I think Auburn fans who can get past homerism know that those two in particular made your program look bad.
