Completely agree on Danielson. He called Prescotts TD with the 5 wide receivers spread out with no safety coverage.

I like Gary. Can tell he does his research and studies up on the teams. Often calls plays before they happen due to his preparation.
Verne is terrible. Its like he just strolls into the booth and doesn't know what game he his calling until he gets there. Does 0 preparing. To be fair, Im sure 3:30 in Starkville threw him off a little... I kid I kid

Verne was great in his heyday. He's a shell of what he used to be, and yet I'll still take him over most of the other PBP guys who regularly cover SEC football. Verne's greatest strength at this point is that he gets out of the way and lets Danielson do all the analysis he needs. Danielson is a great analyst, even if his presentation can be abrasive.
Brad Nessler is probably the only PBP guy I like more than Verne at this point, and Nessler/Blackledge are easily the best team. Brent Musburger has seen his better days and he's picks a side and hypes it to hell. Dave Neal is terrible, and I couldn't pick Tom Hart, Clay Matvick, etc. out of an audio lineup.
