Every team listed faces longer odds than what the payouts are, which is why these bets are profitable for the casinos to list.

I'm not saying they will win, but at 40:1 USC looks like a nice payoff.
They have built a program and I think they will win the east which essentially puts them in the pseudo-first round of the "6" team playoff (aka SECCG).
