Well you obviously put all the pieces together. Just curious but do you have any data on how often bats fail inspection. Who am I kidding, you must know because only a complete retard would make the claim Vandy is intentionally trying to cheat if you didn't know how often a bat fails inspection.
And it begs the question... why is Tennessee only reporting on whether their bats passed inspection this past weekend? Why are they withholding the results of every other series they have played in. Why hide those results? Tell us!!!! Why the secrecy if you are not guilty?

If they inspect them so often, then illegal bats were a problem
The older composite bats were a problem. They could be manipulated to make them hotter. The naked eye can't tell the difference between those and what are used now, so that's why they have stickers now. That doesn't mean illegal bats are used all the time now. shite, they inspect bats before beer league softball games. I will say I have never seen a coach ask for a bat inspection after a home run, though, and I've watched more college baseball games that I could ever count.

If it was deemed legal prior, I don't understand the point you're trying to make. They were trying to use a bat that was deemed legal. Also, they didn't use it when it was deemed illegal.

Every bat that made the trip was inspected for UT Thursday. There’s a difference between a sticker falling off a passed bat than a bat not passing inspection at all. And yes stickers do fall off as this ahs happens to Auburn and NC State as well. Beck got his bat back, where did the illegal bat go Vandy had?

because Tim Corbin actually called for a bat inspection after a home run and they called the batter out because of the lack of a sticker and then took the bat for inspection to see if it was compliant. They talked about it during other games, so it's not exactly crazy why Tennessee reporters would follow back up on it after the results came in.

Yes, using a bat without a sticker is more illegal than not using a bat that wasn't given a sticker.

Because this is the only series it was involved in. Also Becks bat has a sticker on it from the midweek game that was 2 days prior to the Vandy inspection.

He asked for an inspection of the bat because he knew the sticker wasn’t on that bat before the at bat. It’s amazing how that was the only bat inspected all weekend.

Did you read the article? Vandy had a bat that did not pass inspection. I am wondering if this particular bat has been used before and just caught. Why would Vandy present an illegal bat to be certified unless they have used this bat before? Vandy was the one that had the illegal bat not UT.
Why would it pass other inspections, but fail this one?
I have no dog in this race, but you are literally just making shite up.
Maybe college should start using real bats.

The point is Vandy tried to use an illegal bat and was caught. Now there’s doubt as to how many games that bat has been used in prior to this weekend?

Nothing I said is made up. Vandy presented a bag that failed inspection. UT used a bat that passed inspection that the sticker fell off. No one gonna admit to cheating when they are caught. If they get away with it once they will keep doing it till they are made to stop.

Did you not pick up on me being facetious or did OP set the standard too high?

Remember when Corbin asked that NC State be tested for COVID an hour before their first game of the semis in Omaha? And 14 players couldn't play the first game because their results weren't back yet, and then NC State had to forfeit the 2nd game because of having too many positive tests and others affected due to contact tracing? Corbin's reaction? “We got a positive outcome, and at the end of the day, I don’t care what it looks like. We’re still here, still playing."
Guy took advantage of stupid COVID protocols at the time to gain an auto-win for his team. Thankfully, State took care of him for everyone else.

Let's get one thing straight here. Stickers do NOT just 'fall off' of a bat. They are placed on bats that pass inspection by representatives from each team. You need a razor blade and possibly a chemical like rubbing alcohol to get it off. I'm not saying Beck's bat was rolled or whatever, but the sticker falling off defense is laughable and an obvious lie.
The Vandy bat that didn't pass inspection wasn't stickered and therefore wasn't used in the series. Bats can fail inspection for a number of reasons. Whether it's getting dents or becoming mishapen due to overuse or hitting a ball in a bad spot or whatever.
Also, if you don't think any of your coaches would do the same thing Corbin did when their catcher tells them that the bat doesn't have a sticker on it, you're sorely mistaken.

You’ll need to provide a link for this. It don’t believe this happened.

Vandy was flat and played like absolute shite, amid the whirlwind of everything else going on. I could see how you could read it another way.

So I guess Vandy tried to blow the whistle on them?

Literally everything you said other than vandy had a bat that failed inspection was made up.

I just asked why a bat would pass previous inspections, but fail this one if it had been used.

Just use wood bats and be done with it.

I don’t really have a dog in this fight and the sticker thing seems silly.. but this isn’t very believable
The sticker “fell off?” What kind of stickers are they using? Did they put it over pine tar? The whole thing is bizarre

lsufball19 Remember when NC State coach did an interview and talked about having a lot of sick players? Corbin didnt have to say anything. They were getting tested bc of the comments their coach made. Keep hating on Corbin though. Dont be so scared of Vandy. It will be at least 4 years before they match your Tigers championship #
