They were studs at 12 but just solid in HS? I honestly lost track of them.

I know all of the BM kids from that team are playing in college. Darrah went to Arizona St, Wiltz went to UNO, Prather went to Loyola, and Rousell went to Centenary. Louque from Lutcher was coming to LSU but got injured and went to Eunice for now. Andrade from HC went to UNO, Ryder Planchard from HC is at Eunice.

I don't know about the rest as far as college goes but they were all pretty solid high school players. Spadoni at Rummel, Shorts at De La Salle, Delatte at Jesuit, and Jeff Curtis.

I still have to see this new group against consistently better competition to believe they'll be as good or better than that group was. BM returned 3-4 really good position players and 2-3 good pitchers. They play a ton of kids all year, including really young kids, so even the "new" kids have experience coming into each season.

how did BM do against concordia?

Beat Concordia 7-4. They went 5-0 on the week. Beat Teurlings, Brenham TX, Crowley TX, Sulphur, and Concordia. I think that puts them at 9-1 on the season.

WM will play Dutchtown Thursday, St Amant Friday, Prairieville and Brother Martin Saturday. Hate we play BM 4th.

BM gets U High on Wed, Dutchtown on Fri, and Live Oak on Sat. The schedule says they also play Prairieville on Sat but I'd much rather it be WM.

This isn’t even close to a classic ULL team.

Southeastern may be the best team in the state.
You'd be hard pressed to find many guys around the country dominating for extended starts at this point in the season. Cooper Moore has been pretty damn good, by the way.

Won just 1-0 last night.

On a fairly routine fly ball to CF that the kid got lost on

BM beat Sulphur 11-8 last night then Concordia Lutheran 7-4 this morning.

It's an unanswerable question without speaking to every kid that has come to LSU. This is stupid.

I had no issues on my laptop. I couldn't cast to my LG TV, though. I just plugged the HDMI in and moved on. No problems, otherwise.

CCA is 6-0

Keep the CCA updates coming. I really like that program. Not overly talented players but certainly not terribly under talented. They are not afraid of anybody, though. Hard nosed ball players.

As the resident BM guy, they beat Teurlings 1-0 in Hammond on Monday then Brenham TX 5-3 and Crowley TX 26-1 both in Sulphur. They play Sulphur tonight at McMurry in Sulphur. They play Concordia Lutheran tomorrow morning at McMurry.

I had much better success casting it from my iphone to my TV than I did casting from my laptop. The video from my iphone is much smoother than the video from my laptop (on the TV screen that is).

I just plugged the ol' trusty HDMI in and it was fine.

I got it on my laptop but it won't cast to my LG TV
I'm hoping to just cast it from my laptop to my TV. I'll be one of the ones scrambling. Kendall is a peckerhead.
I believe the ERA will find a better home than 5 as Yeskie learns each pitcher. The WHIP is still nice, and the strikeout numbers are obviously still nice.

We are striking out very little and walking alot. OBP and SLG are nice, but these will normalize as we see better better pitching consistently.

Fielding seems good enough but that will be tested along the way.

Curiel leads the team in strikeouts (tied with Arrambide) and is way down on the list in OBP. He will shoot up in due time.

Ruckert and Pearson lead the team in SLG and OPS, albeit it in limited ABs comparatively. They are above the white hot Jake Brown.

He might get Wally Pipped in this lineup.

Yes and no. Stanfield has more skins on the wall than the rest of the kids vying for playing time. Very experienced and unselfish SEC hitter, and a very good OF. Jay showed with Braswell that he'd beat the dead horse. He may not have had as many viable options to replace Braswell at his position, as evidenced by portaling 3 infielders excluding Yorke, but the points still stand. It's also still very early.
How did Ricken look today? How hard was he throwing? His line was very efficient.
They only let us bat 9 at a time. Jay almost always figures how to get more bats involved throughout a game, though. Pearson will get some starts at DH.
