Also, what position is he and Ruckert playing in summer ball? If I were them, I'd also be getting reps in the OF.

I was also expecting him to enter. However, he has a clear path to playing time if he works at it. Both he and Ruckert mostly played SS their whole life so 2B was somewhat of an adjustment. I think they're both capable of playing any of the infield positions with enough work, and at least 1 or 2 of those positions are probably completely up for grabs. Mikey Ryan said no thank you to that proposition, even though I believe he is also capable of playing any of the infield positions.

I couldn't go more than 33 for Olave. Even at 33, he equals DK Metcalf and surpasses Amon-Ra and Tee Higgins, among others. Over 33, he gets into the Justin Jefferson convo.
London's deal is just insane, and ATL will have to pay Bijan too.
What a world we live in.

He kind of outgrew SS like Deichmann did. He's probably corner IF or corner OF. Also, as some have already mentioned, I'd be interested to know if he has plans on getting back on the mound.
Dawson Park was kicked off the Texas State team. Seems like he got into it with a teammate.
Watters, Savoie, Garcia, Laskofski. Top 4 position guys for me right now.

TD's very own Project and WJP
On another note, Drake Amedee...2026 pitcher for BM was set to go to LSUE but is going to SLU now. I really, really like the kid. He was used as BM's game 2 guy but I think he was their best arm. Up to 94 with a plus slider/cutter. Around 6'2 and 200 with room to build, and knows how to pitch. Very competitive. No hit Pineville in the playoffs. He was on the mound for the Catholic marathon.
He reminds me of a taller, more wiry, but slightly less athletic Brennan Stuprich, who coincidentally pitched at SLU and ended up a late round pick by the Yanks last year.

Someone on a different board said Louque is scheduled to be here next year, 26-27.
I like hearing this. He's a ball player. I'll have to ask around, but I wonder if he's gotten on the mound any recently or plans to.
He's busy finalizing the Easton Royal flip. Give him a few days.
I'm as disgusted as anyone else, but let's see what he does next year before throwing him to the curb. History says he will make adjustments, with or without a change in the arms he has to work with.
And I say the same about whoever's decision it was to be so twitchy with in-game pitching changes (and often) that may have contributed to things.

I remember Yamaguchi from the Little League World Series. He won it with Hawaii the year before or after Eastbank won it if I remember correctly. Get him and Marshall Louque in here.

Believe me, I understand.
Very banged up on offense/defense, but not so much on the mound. I think almost every (maybe every) starting position player was banged up or lost. Moore was lost on the mound, Evans was banged up, and Schmidt ended up a scratch late in the season but we were otherwise healthy on the mound. We just absolutely sucked on the mound, except for a few outstanding performances along the way. I'm normally not that blunt, but it is what it is.

All pipe dreams, but football and basketball boosters have come up with a lot of money for those rosters. You have to think this season would be the one to really shake up the baseball boosters, albeit maybe not as deep of pockets as those other programs and other variables go into the baseball draft.

Leblanc just seems like such a huge miss.
I hope we take a good look at some of the guys on the Delgado, LSU, and even Nunez rosters before making that mistake again. I hate to say it but it actually seems like arrogance that we don't. None of the guys really pop off the page for me, but I'm not an expert evaluator.
Mama Milam posts here
I can think of 3-4 that may apply to. Is it more than that? I'm not counting guys that are out of eligibility or could leave for pro ball.
Expecting poor weather tomorrow, so I grilled some burgers and deer sausage in a misty rain and made a potato salad. Merica.

This OU team was loaded. I'm glad to see some new blood in OKC, though. OU will be back and better than ever next year. They bring back alot without even looking at their recruits and transfers.
