Tennessee has the edge big time recently besides a Texas playoff appearance that was based upon beating a bunch of cupcakes and a declining Bama team in Milroe's first big game.
Let's recap some big orange whoopass on the burnt out trannies:
Vols paid up to recruit the best QB
Texas paid up to get a mediocre QB prospect based on his last name
Vols knocked Texas out of the 2024 NCAA tourney
Vols won the 2024 college world series while Texas sat on their sofas.
And the big one: Tony V rejected you because you are pompous overrated pricks and there's way too much gay in the state of Texas for him.

Kentucky fans don't have any successful team to root for anymore so have officially demoted themselves to online hall monitors and some weirdo kind of gate keeper complex because they were good at basketball once upon a time and sucked at everything else and now suck at everything.
