UT is 9th in revenue but why was their rumors of the AD being broke?

Probably because they have a half dozen former coaches still drawing large salaries from the Athletics dept.

they do something different on how they obtain or distribute their revenue. I forget which.

Because we like to hire hack job coaches and pay them just as much to leave as we did for them to show up.

This applies to all universities who decide to part ways with a coach. Only profession I know of besides CEO's of companies who get paid to leave....

Actually, it applies to anyone with any kind of guaranteed employment contract.

Revenue does not equal profit.

They are paying old coaches still. Redoing neyland stadium. Team sucks so fundraising and ticket sales are down.
