Spurrier quit recruiting 2-3 yrs before he quit. He wanted to hang it up a couple of yrs earlier and Ray Tanner talked him into staying instead of listening to Spurrier flat out say he was ready to retire. That is more on Ray Tanner than Steve Spurrier.

Oh, Spurrier retired, just didn't quit coaching before he did....

Muschamp 1000000000% damn near permanently wrecked this program to the point that there would have been no coming back from it. It was bad when Spurrier left. It was being removed from life support when we fired him at the final second and saved our lives.

No Gamecock fans think we have a chance this weekend, no matter what motivation you try and conjure up in your head. If we keep it within 30 the Dawgs should be worried about the rest of the season. In short we aren't good and we know it.

Hurts my feelings that the line was less for the UAB game than it is ours, tho. Not gonna lie. Makes me hate Muschamp even more.

Muschamp avged about 16ppg against them. I’ll give us 23pts against them Saturday. Beamer might actually have an offensive game-plan.
