Isn't the B1G TV deal better than the SECs currently? I thought I had seen that somewhere.

In reality it's a 2 conference sport right now and everyone knows it. You wouldn't have the B1G/SEC battles and articles if they didn't both know the other was the competition. If the SEC breaks off, you have to think they discuss with the B1G (or vice versa) because neither league will want their champion to not have beaten the other champion. That's part of the draw right now.

The sweetness of the SEC dominating for 20 years was often at the expense of the B1G, and now the B1G has won 3 in a row and taken back at least short term control.

I think that becomes a potential legal issue for the SEC. The conference would be its own Association, and could become subject to NCAA pitfalls.
