Updyke is a piece of shite that should be flushed down the toilet. Vandalism is never okay, and the extreme he took it to points to a sociopathic lack of empathy and caring to the extent that no one would be surprised if he ends up arrested for murder one day.

The rolling of the trees is also a trashy tradition that Auburn should do away with. Poor leadership on the university’s part if they allowed it to continue knowing that it was killing the trees.

No, it was the Spike 80DF that killed those trees despite their health before, Harvey.

The Auburn board on this site should be soaked with this.

Auburn Univ had admitted that the trees were dying, BEFORE Updyke poisoned their roots.

Everything is dying from the day its born/ or is seeded...

The question is "When"

I was referring to the factors that Auburn University said, several years BEFORE Updyke came along, were causing the trees to die. Who knows how many years the trees would have lived had Updyke not poisoned the roots? But we know from Auburn University, that they were dying, BEFORE he poisoned the roots. And they were not old trees, relative to the typical lifespan of oaks. Is that simple enough for you?

May as well give it up. They have new trees to
kill now and Auburn will remain the only school in
the SEC that routinely vandalizes its own campus.
