More likely Alabama doesn't see the point in sending letters to a blogger.

Why do the bammers feel they need to defend anything?
Why do barners think this line proves wrongdoing?

Yup, just like every Bammer has done on Finebaum, BOL, and TS.
Along with SbB and a bunch of other idiots...
What about "Cecil admits shopping Cam to MSU" and the HBO4?

You are missing the point. The records have been made public. Doesn't matter to whom. They are public.

I think its funny an Auburn fan talking about an Open Records Request. Don't you?
Posted on 7/26/11 at 8:45 pm to Bellabama
So maybe it was more of a..."just STFU Clay, we're making them available to everyone"

Clay has on his website as we speak that he asked for emails concerning this, like the emails that doomed Tressel, but it was denied by Bama
Did he file a formal Open Records request? I know the al.com print media group did, and UA turned over their stuff.

Or maybe he didn't file a formal request like he should have. This isn't the Virgin Islands (that is where he was practicing before he started writing about CFB), so it is going to take more than just a phone call or email to get stuff turned over...you know, like the goddamn al.com print media group did. Again, are you slow?

Yea because BOL posters never come in Auburn weekly news threads

So everyone know's about the Tressel emails, would it be impossible to believe that there aren't any emails. If you CYA, and don't send any.. you have nothing to release ?

Clay said he asked for the emails from Saban, he said he was denied by bama. you're saying those are in the public.
I would like a link

So becuase he has that he asked for it on his website=he properly filled an open records request to the U of A and was denied. When did he file the ORR and if it was denied I'm sure it was in writing and he would've posted that written denial. but hey I'm sure someone on ITAT can verify he was denied, since that was the source for his story. LMAO

Alabama says, he is not a booster. I do not think they are correct as he has had sideline passes and pictures with a lot of folks in the stadium...

The key phrase in that letter is "sensationalized journalism". Basically the disassociation letter, written months ago, refers to Clay Travis' story written in the past week or so.
Was the cease & desist hand-delivered?

Oh... I thought you were talking about the records obtained by al.com that are public records.
I concede I don't have the slightest idea about that, but I'm sure that the fact that Clay Travis asked for them and was denied means that Alabama is guilty.

Lot's of folks get sideline passes and aren't boosters... journalist, corporate sponsors, celebrities, etc. A sideline pass does not make you a booster..
