Skenes has now allowed only two runs on eight hits with four walks and 48 strikeouts in 24 innings of work this season. Simply phenomenal.

He has all the tools to be an extremely successful pitcher.

Will be curious to see how he translates in SEC play. Those numbers are obviously incredible but SEC play is quite a bit different than Western Michigan, Kansas State, Butler and Samford.

Do you happen to know his pitch count per game?

Curious to see how it translates to real hitting before he’s crowned 4 starts into the season.

SEC competition with capitalize on his mistakes much better than those 4 teams but Skenes doesn’t make many mistakes. He’s doesn’t hang over the middle of the plate and he has good command. I wouldn’t expect him to average 12k, 2H, 1BB and less than a run a game but no one can be surprised if he ends the season as the most dominate pitcher in the conference.

I keep getting told by UT alters, their alters, and their alters that it's some guy who wears orange. I'm being lied to.

Damn who knew, all you have to do to beat a great pitcher is hit opposite of his throwing arm.

They are a very average hitting team. It's cost them 3 games alone already.
