The junior safety said the doctors told him there is a chance he will be able to play football again, but not this season.

Zac said he strained ligaments in his neck and cracked his fifth vetebrae. He is thankful to Ole Miss running back Rodney Scott for realizing something was wrong and not moving. If the running back had not done that the Auburn player could have been seriously hurt and may have never walked again, Zach said.

Good to hear he will recover. It is a good thing he wasn't on top of Brandon Spikes.

Glad he is gonna be alright. Ole Miss player moving would have fricked his world up. But glad to hear that it is nothing career ending.

I was watching a North Carolina game earlier this year and one of the linebackers had a neck fusion and was playing so I'm sure ethridge has a shot.
