There are always underrated players that made big impacts at our schools in clutch moments. Who were the top 3 unsung heroes at your University in your opinion.
LSU
#1) CB- Jonathan Zenon- Returned an interception 18 yards with just over nine left against Tennessee in the SEC Championship Game that gave the Tigers the lead for good at 21-14 .. Pretty much clinched us the 2007 National Championship. He finished his career with 9 Ints, with 3 being ran back for TDs
#2)P/K- Brad Wing & Drew Alleman
2011 is bittersweet obviously because Bama beat the dogshit out of us in the National Championship. Everyone seems to remember possibly our "most talented defense" ever, but our kicking and punting game got us out of a lot of tight spots, by flipping the field and making clutch field goals.
#3) OG- Trai Turner- At 320lbs wearing a crop top Trai Turner was one of the biggest most athletic guys I've ever seen in my life. Overshadowed by La'El Collins, Vadal Alexander, and somewhat by Jerald Hawkins, Turner was a big factor in our running success with Jeremy Hill. Almost everyone felt he left school too early, but the guy was drafted 3rd round by the Carolina Panthers, became a starter as a rookie, is now a Pro Bowler and is famous because of this
And wrecking JJ Watt

Jacob Hester will always be my hero.

Shaud Williams. Led the conference in rushing during one of our lean years. Epic interview with Bruno.

I was going to put Hester, but I feel he's not unsung lol. Everybody loves Hester and knows how important he was.

I got some feels when Kodi Burns scored in the BCSNCG. He switched positions and from all accounts was a team guy. Hopefully the dude can become a successful coach now

Shaud was awesome. Great player screwed over by Fran and Price.
He recognized me on Bourbon Street celebrating after 1/9/12 and it was one of the coolest moments of my life.

I didn't realize he was the WR coach at Auburn

Barrett Jones. Barry Krauss. Andre Smith. Glenn Coffee. Kareem Jackson.

Brad Wing getting the taunting penalty on the fake punt against Florida is my favorite play of all time.

Lane Bearden. Badass punter. Tore his ACL on a dumbass fake punt call from Fran and came back to punt later in the year.

As a Texans fan, Kareem Jackson has made me want to shoot my dog and caused me to lose the little hair I have left. Thay guy has been sorry for most of his career. Although he was a little better last year. Maybe there is hope he won't get burned like bacon again this year.

He is since Gus let Craig go to LSU. DC may not have been the best coach, but the dude is a beast recruiter and AU legend. Still stings to me

That's how most Bama players are in the NFL....
I kid, I kid....

Channing Ward was a special teams All-World at ole miss. caused so many fumbles
Kailo Moore recovered the fumble to set up the Bo Wallace TD pass to beat bama
Kinda out there, but Will Denny just graduated from Ole Miss and he was our starting long snapper his entire career and in 4 years he did not have a single bad snap. Solid

And wrecking JJ Watt
JJ Watt tripping on another lineman is now "getting wrecked"

According to PFF he was OK last year and actually played pretty well the year before (only one that graded in the green besides Watt on that defense).
But he makes you feel that bad imagine having a whole defense full of bad players including the worst the worst player in the NFL (Brandon Browner).
