Wasn't necessarily saying he should be aware of it himself, but you would think someone would have made them aware of it. The producers and stat guys had to know they would talk about the pitching situation, and they should have slid them a note about that special situation.

I think the home plate ump got it right. Great job by him to give himself the line of sight to at least see what happened. The closer view of the tag makes it look like the 3rd baseman didn't apply the tag until he got to the body. From what I've seen, 2 perfect calls by the boys in blue there.

Both calls appear to be correct but why try to take third on a go ahead hit in front of you to left there? Unnecessary risk/reward there.
