People have been saying for a few years now that Ole Miss has been breaking the rules in recruiting.
Ole Miss fans denied it heavily. Freeze even challenges people over twitter about it

Ole Miss fans say that it's only like 5 very minor infractions from football and it's basically all from before the current staff (as if that matters)
A report comes out saying half of the allegations are football, some serious and some implicating current coaches
Ole Miss fans say they knew all of this was coming, it's not big deal and they should expect maybe a handful of lost scholarships
In the past two days, two coaches specifically involved in recruiting and specifically working for Ole Miss have been fired/resigned
You're on here asking for 'context' and challenging various posters on this board to detail step-by-step every single thing that Ole Miss did wrong and the implication of those wrong doings. And when they don't you dismiss anything they say.

What about reports from other ESPN guys saying it isn't nearly as severe as some are making it out to be?

Really guyz its just a coincidence that his resignation to "take a new job" leaked on a Friday afternoon. Just coincidence. Surely the story about the new job he is taking will leak any minute now.
