It's just a solid fact. We let some cockroaches scurry a single time, nothing more, nothing less.

I hate to go off topic.
But the blocking on that play was Supreme.
I bet dozens of high school running backs could have reached the end zone on that run.

"No I really only meant starters"
"I mean maybe one play but not the others"
"We almost won"

Anything to avoid the fact that Cedric Baxter is the #1 in back in your room and the #2-#3 back in ours.

Did those other backs play any last year against us? I figured they would have gotten a shot after Mighty Bijan kept running into defenders at the LOS and falling to the turf.
Oh yea, Keilan Robinson is one of that room of elite backs

you are single handedly about to have the SEC Rant hoping Alabama beats the brakes off of Texas. I can't believe a guy from the school where Darrell K. Royal was a legend is still bragging 9 months later about "almost" beating Alabama.

Obviously Alabama has a better front 7 than we do, and a more consistent offensive line (last year at least for this one).
And none of that takes away from the fact that
And we made Saban tQuit the recruitment. (multiple times last year)

Maybe CJ can be the next great Texas running back that wins nothing and runs for less than 60 yards in a loss against Alabama?
I'm sorry, a program changing loss against Alabama.

Must have been why y'all lost 5 games in the Big 12.

Hot take. A Power 5 QB that throws for 4,100 yards and 27 TDs could be a first rounder.
The NFL isn't looking for stats (see Anthony richardson vs Stetson Bennett).
The NFL is looking for pro prospects. The stats just reinforce the perception of the tangibles and mental fortitude of the QB.
If he has really bad stats, means he didn't win (or hold) the job, which would kill his chances.
If he has average stats and they run a modern pro-style offense, he's groomable but maybe not ready yet.
If he has insane stats, he's ready and might be #1 (see Burrow).
