That offense with him still blows my mind. In the spring game, he could barely complete a pass. Yes I get that Alabama's defense was incredible that year, but still. My god did him/that offense look bad.
Then season comes and they light it up. It was unreal.

1985 - Tennessee averaged 234.5 yards passing and 150.4 yards rushing per game.
UT also had more passing yards than rushing yards in 1982 (although both were anemic that year).

Yeah Shaw was a straight gamer. Hated playing him but couldn't help but admire his ability.

I dont underrate Nick. In my opinion, he is my second favorite Auburn QB and I have been watching since the early 80's.
