There was a reason the USC left the ACC in 1971 and it was directly related to how much power and sway UNC had over the conference. It was better to wander in the wilderness of independence for 20 years and all that entailed than to stay in a conference with those prima donnas.

No, but we USC alum/fans know these people. We've been in conference with them before. It may not mean anything, but we said some of the same shite about Clemson, and y'all realized we were on to something. UNC is toxic.

None of uncheat nor Virginias sports teams would finish in the top half of the SEC. We need schools that are competitive and bring viewers from all over the country not teams that act as warm-up games.

I don’t like UNC but their appeal to the SEC is undeniable IF the SEC is already thinking more expansion.

If UNC somehow gets invited you’d have to imagine maybe Duke would too. It wouldn’t be about football that’s for sure.
