A kick out of bounds is a "spot foul and not a penalty. They chose to take it to the 35 yard line.

If State had chosen to have it re-kicked, the it would have been a 5 yard assessed penalty.

Well, in State’s defense, one of the phantom calls took away a touchdown. Another blown call led to Alabama’s first touchdown. So State does have a legitimate complaint. Also not sure with them being “poors” has to do with anything unless you’re agreeing with the conspiracists
